Seven out of ten consumers purchase beverages away from home twice a week.* Many of today’s consumers are gravitating toward specialty drinks. Coffee remains the strongest and most dynamic specialty beverage trend so it’s a good idea to build upon that trend.
One way to accomplish this is to offer a memorable specialty item. I’ve been to a great many coffee shops (in the Chicagoland area at least) and I have yet to find one that offers these chocolate coated wafer cups.

The chocolate coated wafer cup will hold ice cream, hot liquids, mousses and liquor creams.
So, we decided to go out and give them a real world try and packed up our sample bag to head out to a suburb of Chicago called Batavia to O’ Sole Mio Gelato and Café.
