Coffee Vs Espresso

Did you know that coffee first originated from Kaffa in Ethiopia. Apparently they were the first to notice the plant and energizing affects from it. Amazing to think after all this time just how needed and popular coffee is to this day. You are probably sipping on one right now or an espresso.
When it comes to gasoline and oil, coffee is a number one commodity on the planet. So what really are the differences between coffee and espresso?

Coffee

Brewed by mixing the grounds of roasted coffee beans with hot water, then waiting a short period of time allowing the mixture to extract briefly. Once the water solubles strain through the coffee grounds you get served an 8oz. regular cup of coffee.

Espresso

Espresso can be made with the same coffee and same roast. But for espresso, the coffee must be ground finer and therefore receive high pressure hot water. Then is forced through the porta-filter and produces a syrupy profile coffee. It contains froth at the top in most cases and when sipped will have more flavor and oil because of the metal filter.
