 Dark Chocolate Pound Cake



1 cup          butter

½ cup       shortening

3 cups       granulated sugar

5                  eggs

1 tsp           vanilla extract

3 cups        flower

½ tsp         baking powder

½ tsp         salt

½ cup        Monin Dark Chocolate Sauce

½                 milk


Beat butter and shortening, then add sugar and mix well. Add eggs one at a time, beating well after each addition. Then beat in vanilla and dark chocolate sauce. Combine dry ingredients into one bowl and milk to creamed mixture.

Bake chocolate pound cake in greased 10 inch tube pan at 325º for 80-90 minutes. Or until chocolate pound cake bounces back when touched lightly in center with finger. Serve with a dusting of powdered sugar and raspberries.
