Ingredients:
1 ¾ cups Flour
1 ½ tsp Baking powder
1 tsp Salt
½ cup Unsalted butter
2 oz. Pacific Spicy Chai Concentrate
2/3 cup Sugar
1 Egg
Directions:
In a bowl, sift together flour, baking powder and salt. Set aside. Use an electric mixer on high speed to make butter fluffy in texture. Then add sugar and 2 oz. Spicy Chai Concentrate. Whip until blended. Add the egg and mix until fluffy. Lower the speed of mixer and slowly add flour. Mix until blended.
Shape the dough into a log on wax paper and refrigerate for four hours.
Preheat oven to 400° Grease two cookie sheets. Cut dough into 1/4 inch slices. Then place 1 inch apart on baking sheets. Sprinkle a coarse sugar on top and bake until edges are browned for 8-12 minutes. Let cool for and enjoy.
